Welcome to Uncle Skippy’s Kitchen. We are a takeout restaurant in Westfield, NJ featuring your favorite comfort food prepared in a dedicated Gluten Free and Nut Free kitchen.

Here at USK we make good food that also happens to be gluten free. Uncle Skippy has been cooking gluten free for almost 20 years, ever since his wife was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Over that time he learned to recreate the recipes he grew up eating to meet her dietary needs while also creating new ones. Later, when his son was shown to have a nut allergy, he pivoted again and made the necessary adjustments. By making our kitchen gluten free, as well as nut free, we provide a safe space for those with the same concerns, while making good food for everyone to enjoy.

Uncle Skippy’s love for cooking, especially for others, was passed down to him from his Grandfather Saverio. His home and kitchen were always open to anyone who wanted a good meal and a good time. USK is our way of continuing that tradition.
